Derivatives Become a New Export Industry, Spotlight on Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan

In the first half of this year, securities firms' S&T (Sales and Trading) divisions achieved strong results across the board, fueled by the booming bond market. However, despite the consistent bond performance, the strategic direction taken by each firm differed. Some further strengthened their bond portfolios, while others sought new avenues through structured products or overseas platform expansion, aiming for differentiation.
