The banking sector, which initiated voluntary compensation following the Hong Kong H-Index Equity-Linked Securities (ELS) incident, has reportedly reached a settlement worth over 961 trillion won (approximately $30 million USD) in just over a year. The large-scale financial crisis that began in late 2023 has been managed to be put behind them within two years. Banks that had voluntarily suspended sales are now stretching to resume them.
